It has been suggested Salah’s post was part of a campaign to raise awareness for the importance of real life communication, away from social media.Nonetheless, Salah returned to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram after three days, but his first post back did not explain his previous cryptic tweet. It was instead an advert for courier company DHL.The same post was also sent out on Salah’s Instagram account.

Upon Salah’s return he had just 2,971 followers on Twitter, a large decrease from the7.78million he had prior to the deletion of his account.2Salah has the weekend off competitive football with Liverpool not taking part in the FA Cup having been knocked out in the third round by Wolves.
